María Laura Ruggiero fue becada por el prestigioso Profesor, guionista y Script Doctor: Thomas Schlesinger para asistir a sus seminarios “Creating Deep Characters” y “Screenwriter as storyteller” en San Francisco (Film Arts Foundation) y Los Angeles(UCLA)respectivamente.

Tom fue el consultor de guión de Caroline Link en sus films “Nowhere in Africa”, galardonado con un Oscar de la Academia por Mejor Film Extranjero en el 2003 y en “Beyond Silence”,nominado al Oscar en 1998. Tom ha colaborado con Doris Dörrie en su ya film de culto, “Nobody Loves” y en el recientemente lanzado ” Fisherman and his Wife ”

Tom Schlesinger was Caroline Link’s story consultant on the scripts for her films, “Nowhere in Africa,” which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film in 2003, and “Beyond Silence,” nominated for an Academy Award in 1998. He collaborated with Doris Doerrie on the cult comedy classic, “Nobody Loves Me,” and the just-released “Fisherman and his Wife.”
