Honoring the month of the Lion

Filed under: English, Seiren News! — SeirenFilms @ 7:39 pm

lion

Leo is one of the constellations of the Zodiac. Its name is Latin for lion. It lies between dim Cancer to the west and Virgo to the East.

Leo has been represented as a lion by numerous civilizations for thousands of years. One explanation is that the Sun was among its stars in Midsummer, and during this time the lions of the Egyptian desert left their accustomed haunts for the banks of the Nile, where they could find relief from the heat in the waters of the inundation. Pliny wrote that the Egyptians worshipped the stars of Leo because the rise of their great river was coincident with the Sun’s entrance among them.

In Greek mythology, it was identified as the Nemean Lion which was killed by Hercules during one of his twelve labours, and subsequently put into the sky

In shamanic cultures, Lion is considered a sign of energy, courage and brotherhood.

“That I may lead you with foresight,

assurance bright and true,

To carry on the spirit,

of the strength I see in you”

Our own very special version of the Happy Hour, is not a round of vodka, my friends, but it’s a moment to offer solutions, help, words, stories, to share a moment of our time to help somebody else. The question is “How Can we help you?”…so if you catch us on the Happy Hour Special, we can help you with a graphic design, some web marketing wisdom, a review, exposure for artists etc… anything you may need and that we may be able to provide. I know it sounds very experimental, but as you may already know, the road to success is always under construction. Be there for the Happy Hour experiment!
